Vanessa Lawson
Vanessa Lawson is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Porte Management Agency (PMA), a technology platform reimagining how talent, brands, and agencies connect in the modern economy. A U.S. Army veteran with a background spanning law, technology, and business strategy, Vanessa brings a systems-driven approach to building transparent and scalable infrastructure for the talent industry.
Before launching PMA, Vanessa developed expertise across legal operations, compliance, and digital systems, with experience supporting complex matters in criminal, family, and contract law while also working in IT services and advisory roles within the Minnesota National Guard. Her work centers on building frameworks that combine legal strategy, technology, and data-driven insights to create more equitable and efficient talent ecosystems.
Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Master of Legal Studies from Cornell Law School.
